Ailt All Document to PDF Converter is a document conversion tool to transform several document types into PDF. With support to a total of 24 formats, the application is able to convert *.doc, *.docx, *.xls, *.ppt, (plus other file types supported by MS Office), *.rtf, *.txt, HTML, and several image formats into the standard format for document sharing.
Starting a conversion task with this application is quite easy. You just add files to the conversion list and click the 'Convert' button. You can add single files or entire folders containing several documents, and it is also possible to drag and drop files into the program.
Before converting your documents, you can check the options the app offers and make adjustments to the output file. Depending on the file you attempt to convert, you can choose different PDF formats: image, plain text, or default. You can also protect your PDF with a password, and restrict permissions to modify, copy, or print your document content. In the case of Excel or PowerPoint files, you can tell the application to combine sheets or slides into a single PDF. For image to PDF conversion, you have the option of merging them into a single PDF document or creating separate files for each image.
The application works quite well; for this review I tried to convert a group of Word 2003, JPG, and Excel files and the application did a correct job, converting documents fast and with precision. For some reason, it wasn't possible to add files larger than 200 KB to the conversion queue, it may be a limitation of the trial version.
